The decorative brake cable clip on my forks popped off when I hit a bump, and I ran over it. It took about 1/4 mile for the tire to become completely flat. I parked in a strangers driveway and waited for 4 hours for AAA.
I was ready to buy my rear Metzler ($327) and get my front closer to Oct ($106). I dida general Google search and found Shinko at Bike Bandit. Did a lot of research on the company and the tires in general. Theyve been around for years now and people are even racing on them. I like Metzler, even had them on my 900 Ninja, but $266.90 at my door just cant be beat! Ordered and mounted them. The tires were even born this year! Only issue found with my new purchase was the back tire is a few millimeters too wide. I adjusted the tire to be way to the left to stay off my belt and started her up. Just let her idle and held a fine rasp to the outside edge. Slowly adjusted the tire to the correct position, and all is well. Rain finally stopped and i went for a little ride around town, so far so good. No highway speeds yet, but I anticipate no problems.
I tried twice, the pics wont upload. The site says its uploading, but nothing appears once posted. Perhaps because the pics are 4megs each. Anyway, go to BikeBandit.com and look around.
