I agree with you guys.I would rather push a Big Dog than ride something that every one else has.
I agree 100% or let it sit in the garage. After riding and pushing and opps let's not forget towing as well, this ole' Scooter I really have "0" desire to ride anything else.

My step father, the old fart that he is first words about this scooter were" "That damn thing is going to get you killed". I geuss that is the reason when I ride it up there I always hammer the throttle through a few gears when I leave .

One more to the list:down: I dont want to check mine, just afraid of find a crack on it.

Im thinking of selling my 08 ridgeback and get me a Harley, at least still on busisness.

Why you want a ¨PIECE OF ART¨if you cant ride it, because in any moment the bike will break apart also no available parts or warranty from the manufacturer:down:
Every time I walk into a Harley Shop there shit loads of them in pieces being worked at... they do have their problems too!

Regarding parts and mechanics... ALL HERE IN THIS GREAT FORUM! :2thumbs:

I can tell you one thing for sure that there were a ton of old HD rigid frames that were welded more than once. There is a load of stress on a motorcycle frame and if the welder or robot didn't have everything right something will give be it weld, due to lack of penetration or the heat effected zone and as mentioned before if the frame has to be pulled in when installing the rear axle.

I'm wondering if the Manufacturer has any responsibility for something like this even if they are no longer in business and I guess the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Admin.) would have to make that decision. Mr. Coleman might have to answer to them and pay for repairs being this would be a Safety Recall.

I'm guessing that we would be talking several thousand to disassemble, repair, repaint and assemble if it was just sent out to be repaired.
