My rear cylinder was much worse than my front too. Aren't you going to have to have your cylinders bored?

TCAL....actually it's my front cylinder
(rod bearing) thats shot and not the rear the rear is fine
My cylinders are fine...but I am going to Bore them .010" over just for the hell of it....Heads are in great shape too....but i'm doin them as well....doin the whole motor while its down..

Rebuild heads new valve guides & seats..grind & lap valves $75 per/head.

Bore cylinders $70 each

Piston Set +.010" $150 for the set...

Lower end The way its looking now the lower end is tight except front rod bearing....and both wrist pin rod bushings are worn...need to replace...havent figured out whos going to balance the lower end yet.....or to just run it like that......+.010" pistons can't be that much of a weight gain to the standard....$100 for rod bearings & bushings..

What kind of pistons are you getting? I was told $362 for mine I'm curious what the difference is. Dark horse is balancing my crank and fixing it

Tcal...sorry about that there $150 each...$300 for the set of S&S Pistons....Definately need to balance the lower end and it's really not an option i want to exclude....especially with some of the RPM's I hit when I'm ridin with the boys...:2thumbs:
