I tell you what I have gotten more correct how too's, and questions answered on this site in the last few days than all the years dealing with any of the BDM dealerships, just Freaking amazing it seems like almost everyone on here has the knowledge and experience to handle all the issues we can have, and maby that just comes with buying a big dog we all know they have there issues but Damn do we love our Dogs, and finding the issues usually only happens when we get hands on, hell I'm getting carried away again, anyway I had seen on here that a few members talking rip kits and the pin read out on the module would anyone out there happen to have a copy of that I could get, I would be very grateful Thanks again for all the help.

Are you wanting to know the pin out from the controller itself?

This is the RIP module

I believe this is the little grey box for latching the run/kill/dimmer buttons.

Or are you looking for the conversion from the original schematic to the new?
i know these look the same but is this the same as the rip kit , im just tired of all the connections and im going to just solder
them all

Hey bud, just got on and saw your PM and this thread so I'll respond here.

Yes Eric's post is correct the wiring is the same for the RIP and the thunderheart module 4260 and the pin read out's.

Nobodies done a full diagram for this kit yet, and I started too and stopped because.... the wiring colors can change from backbone to the stock harnesses like the hand controls for example. Not a lot but definitely a few colors that are not the same! Why aren't the same? My opinion is because the thunderheart is designed for Harley's and so the colors match for them, and why create extra cost for the end consumer (us low volume big dog guys) by making thunderheart manufacture new modules that just get connectors put on? Valid argument!

And before someone tells you the other guys kit wiring matches I will also tell you it doesn't either, why? Probably for the same reason I just said! I've installed both and saw same issues.

Now with all that said....I don't know why you would want to get rid of the connectors that just going to make things more challenging when you have to take things apart. But it's your bike so whatever you like! Rock and Roll

And yes, there isn't any issue that hasn't been covered in this forum before and why we do have plenty of info compared to dealers. These bikes are all 10+ years old! Nothing new anymore!

Ya I kinda compared it with mine and seen no diff pluss with the read oiut i just unpluged it and made a small 12v jumper with a needle lead and just went down the list and they were correct, ever since my ech went out i refused to by another just to never have it happen to do it again, i first just by passed everything and did the hand sig thing then i went to wires plus and was not very happy with still problems now im with the rip and still i have a few issues just like everyone else and i always beleived that most of the issues with all of them was just stupid connectors, grounds and minor shit like that, so after i got that pin read out i pulled my entire harness out and cut off every connector on it tested each on to the number and i started hard connecting every one with solder and i know that's gonna fix all the issues down the road. but thanks for getting back with me and if interested i will send a few pick when done should be tommrow sometime, Peace Out, RABIES AMF

also the reason for cutting them the connectors they are just wearing out and thats what i do every day is repair electronics and im soldering something every day and if i have to remove some thing i dont mind doing it again i have had my Pitt from 05 and love breaking down every piece and part sometimes just for fun, if it did not have some issues sometimes, i think i would have to break it just to have fun with it LOL really its not that bad but close
