I bought my first dirt bike at age 12, (needed a lot of work). At 14 I got my first street bike and my motorcycle license. But of course at 15, I got a broke leg and arm with 5 pins. Only reason my dad “let” me buy my first was because he never thought I would get it running. Two weeks later I was riding it (without his help). But after I blew it up 6 months later it took 2 months and his considerable help to get it back together. And I kept it as my “off road bike” for 8 more years.
All I am saying is that sons and scooters aren’t necessarily oil and water. That’s up to you.
P.S. At 14 if he’s not chasing girls yet, he’s gay
Yep Bearman, we already did the whole dirt bike route and I sold the last one of them a few months ago. Now we are camping more and riding the RZR. I found I wasn't riding the K9 much anymore and when I did it was just me and wife going away for a weekend. When it comes to toys/hobbies I got ADD. Besides the dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, K9, Camaro, camping, I love hunting and belong to a deer camp. I have a pro trained Lab that I duck and upland hunt with. I also spend a lot of time training him and am thinking about entering him in hunt tests. I have a saltwater center console boat (Cape Horn) and a john boat. That aint counting booze cruses to crab island and bikini inspecting on the beach. Or shooting zombies with my M-4 300 Blackout!
There aint enough time in the day, even after I am retired, to do it all! Right now my boy is chasing girls but until he get his own drivers license, I still got time with him.
