Retiring from the Military

Well the time has come. I am retiring from the military after 25 years. Unfortunately, to get my finances in order I am selling the K9. This was my second Big Dog and I bought my first one in 03 so I have been a continuous owner for close to 12 years now. I have met a lot of cool people on this site and made a lot of great friends: Mastiff Dave, BB/BBB, Diver Bill, 1PUS to name a few. Sorry Brooks I had to do it and I will see ya out at Crab Island soon.

I am going to post the K9 for sale tomorrow (lots of extras and low miles), but I will still keep in touch. And I will still organize the police escort for the Big Dog group ride at Thunder Beach in the Spring, but I might have to follow y'all in the SS.

Thanks everyone! By the time I finish my terminal leave I will be close to 26 years. E-9 retirement ain't bad, but with my high standard of living, I need another job and fast.

Another reason I am selling is cuz of my youngest Son of 3. He I 14 years old. The other 2 are adults. I have been trying to spend more time with him, and the bike just doesn't fit the bill. Once I get settled in a new career and he gets closer to college or is too busy chasing girls, I will be in the market for another BD. My guess it won't be too far down the road.

Ru, can't believe that you going to sell that bike , who's 1 puss gonna ride with to the outpost? Thunder beach won't be the same with out you and the wife herding us along on the K9 that's for sure. That's just part of what makes Pcb the best rally is the fine people and the large group of dawgs that attend. Thanks for your service RU, and I'm sure you will still be welcome on the ride even in that SS. I added to your other post in swap about a part that you forgot to list.. :flag::flag:
