I was hoping some one could help with diagram and procedures to remove starter in a 2002 big dog pitbull. It had trouble starting the other day so I caught in gear and rode home. Put it on a charger and then last night I tried to start it. Th starter moved but started smoking from under oil tank. I shut it off and removed battery terminals which was real hot. I pulled oil tank got to starter unbolted and it would not come out. I know there is more to this and did not want to proceed without direction. The motor is a 107 without a compression release so I think of getting a better starter but was looking for direction from you guys.
