rear tank mount

Can someone tell me if there is any adjustment associated with the rear tank mount ? 2006 K9. Can it be raised or tighgtened ? My Tank has become loose at the rear and has about an inch of play. Top is solid. Do I just need to replace and if so where the hell am i gonna find a rear mount. Thanks for the help.

Had mine replaced......used one from a Harley. Had to modify it a little, but it worked. Can't remember which one we used. Take the old one to a Harley dealer or contact one of the vendors on the site and see if they have one or can tell you what will work.

If you want to try to find one for a 06 K9.....The bigdog part number is BD130-000322-00

Yes it can be adjusted. Take the tank off and you will find a rubber pick on a stud with a locknut.
When you do the adjustment you will need to put the tank back on and tighten the front mount to check the play a couple of times.

Mine looked a bit worse for wear also, the rubber is a bit gooey, I'm looking up the price now.

If the rubber is worn on mine, I am going with electrical tape around the ruber.
