Ran out of gas today

Going to work today ran out of gas on the 15 south with 110 miles on a 5 gallon tank. Bike is getting crappy gas mileage with the xxx carb. Got lucky had a guy pull over bought a gas can and went and got some gas for
Me said he was returning a favor! Good people still in the world and I owe tony for helping out. Great dude and I am humbled by his generousity. Btw not trying to be like raywood!

Died on me once at 110 miles, luckily the reserve got me to the gas station. Now I dont let it go more that 100 before refilling. Gotta feed the beast!!!

My K9 will usually take 3-3.5 gallons @ 120+ miles, I have gotten 42mpg with my wife and all her accessories, I must be one of the lucky ones.

CAN you BUY a new petcock that REALLY has a reserve??? If I drain the tank and switch to reserve I get about
4 OUNCES of fuel. I did this in the shop so as not to look stupid pushing a high dollar bike with no gas.
I would love to get one that has a real 1/2 GALLON reserve. I ran out once, and to quote the raven....."never more"

My K9 will usually take 3-3.5 gallons @ 120+ miles, I have gotten 42mpg with my wife and all her accessories, I must be one of the lucky ones.

I was getting 45 mpg and have done 140 with the wife on and then I did the 585 cam, dual runner and different jets. Now I'm at 30-32 mpg so I always gas up before 100 miles anyway.

Let my kid ride my sporty once, and when I got on it I made it about a mile from the nearest gas station only to discover that he had used up the main tank and ran it on reserve. he kind of "forgot to tell me" when he brought it home and parked it. I was mildly pissed about having to walk to the station and only have a couple of empty water bottles to put gas in to get back and fill up. Needless to say, he don't get to ride the dog. Christ he's just like his mother sometimes.

This is why I tell my kids to think about who you have sex with! Cause if you don't like that person and they get pregnant and have a child that child may be a lot like the person you didn't like very much! But had sex with cause they are hot! And, you can't divorce your kids! Lol!
