Protecting your custom in Sturgis

Hey Guys,
I use one of these to lock my skis and it works with my bike to protect my gear. Its a pocket lock with a 30" retractable cable. Fits in your pocket. And no keys. Works great. It won't protect it from being cut with bolt cutters, but it will stop the guy just walking buy and grabbing it.

been to sturgis twice with no problems whatsoever yet myrtle beach was a different story,went inside of myrtle beach hd after talkin to the 2 cops sittin on the rockin chairs outfront for a minute and bought a mirror and came out 15 minutes later and my 2001 nite train was gone!!!

We left every thing we had at the Chips camp grounds every day for a week and never had one issue.

Just ordered a tool bag from Beezer and will be sending Seatmaker my seat and pillon, any suggestions on how to protect them in Sturgis from theft, other than not taking them or the obvious alarm....

Been to sturgis past 6 years, stay in Lead up the canyon. Never had a problem. Cops on every corner downtown sturgis.

Friend did get thrown in jail for open wiskey bottle in T bag though. Alwaysdo speed limit 35 thru deadwood.
