I seem to be noticing a new trend on 2008's as they start to mile up, not seen in earlier years.
Symptom: trans slipping at 3500-4000 rpms. Per Baker on the 1st job: used heavier spring, new clutch, dial indicate main shaft, check and change bearings, even an extra plate - all to no avail.
Fix: Replace a seemingly perfect pressure plate with no visible issues. Problem solved. I am now just seeing this for the 3rd time.
Curious if anyone else is experiencing this, like 05's with the clutch carrier and 06's with main shafts. :loony:
