Never though about welding a plate to my scissor jack. I have been using a 2X4. I see a project in my future.

You can also drill and bolt a piece of 4 inch channel to the top.

I was looking for 4 inch channel. Wasn't carried at the hardware need to go to a supply company but then I'll have to buy 8-10 ft

Just go by your local salvage yard and you should be able to pick up just about any shaped metal that you might need and at a real deal

I covered my jacks with sticky back green felt, saves what little paint is left. I also extended and raised the ramp to get the K9 on without hitting and added a small piece of 3/4" plywood under the back wheel to be able to get the jack under.

Yea I've extended the ramp as well its a must.

I'm was thinking of finding thin rubber and using adhesive spray but the felt is a good option as well. Thanks for the idea
