Well I just received a lot of the different mod I ordered and spent part of the afternoon hooking paycheck up with some new accessories. Thanks Jake for the spiked fork covers and head bolt, Nelson mirror adapters worked great, gonna wait for to put on the rack for my sissy bar. Purchased some ultra slashed pipes from Miami exhaust, they are sweet looking and LOUD!!! A triple XXX carb and K&P oil filter from Mad Dog. Now that I have everything on here my dawg needs a bath and polish any volunteers, preferebly a bikini clad hottie:D .

nice Pipes!

I just installed the Hotrods Slashed from Miami Exhausts.

Did you have to rejet for your short pipes and did you notice any more vibration?

I'm going to watch my plugs but it seems like I lost some low end. I went from V&H 2-2 big radius

I re-jetted before the pipes due to punching the baffles out of the stockers, so when I ordered my XXX carb he put me the next size up for inter and main you didnt have the VH jet kit when you put the those pipes on?. As for the vibration yeah I do notice it a little more especially about 3500. Power it feels like I lost some but really cant tell it doesn't seem to be that noticeable if so, maybe the carb compensates some for it? Gonna get her dyno'd just to see how much it hurt and have it tuned, really not worried about the power loss, I'm more about the bling :2thumbs: . I know it will still get sideways if you get into it :D

very nice :2thumbs: caught your ankles on those points yet? :D
Actually yeah, backing into parking spots can be a little tricky. Plus I am sure I will have a few burn marks also because she kicks outs some pretty flames if your main jet kicks in before you shift.:D

Thanks for the info. I did change the intermediate jet up one after the v&H
Do you know what jets you are running now? I'm still running the stock main jet

Well I'm not thrilled with mine so far.
After probably 100 miles the pipes are changing color pretty bad. I checked my plugs before I changed the pipes and they were perfect.

I check the plugs with the new pipes on and it might be running a little lean but I had these pipes ceramic coated on the inside and I can't believe how fast they are changing colors.

Wide open the pipes run great but It really seems like the low end went to hell
I guess I'm going to richen it up use some blue job and see if it gets better
