Partial Disability Front Brake Modification

Greetings,

I am inquiring with any motorcycle mechanics or modifications experts about if and/or how I could modify the front brake on a Kawasaki Ninja I am looking at.


I am missing four fingers, but still have my exceptionally strong thumb and a strengthened wrist.
While as, I can practically reach the brake and maintain stability as is, I am looking to sustain comfortability longer term by bringing in the front brake lever in closer to the throttle somewhere in the range of 30%-50% closer. There is most definitely enough space in between as to not interfere with the throttle. I don't have fingers blocking that space anyhow.



Would this modification by workable? And would it in all likelihood void any warranty?

Why not just use the rear brake and allow yourself more distance to safely stop. Another thought is to use a glove, sew a leather tube that fits on your lever to the underside of the glove where your fingers would normally grip the brake lever. Then just pull or roll your hand to apply the brake. You could use that for any bike and not alter your bike. You might want to sell it one day

Thats a dang fine idea Suffy. Way better than bending the brake lever closer (and hoping it dont snap).

I'd look into this.. ^^

And
Maybe additional thumb pressed valve you could push that would release the front brake pressure and not interrupt the rear brake. On a as needed bassis.

Why not have a handle milled/ printed to fi the perch with a closer lever,, or better yet shape that works for your hand/nubs/wrist?

3D printing works well, and once design in soild can have same machined in metal.
