So I fried my wire plus the other day and I’m just curious as to all the different options I may have. I am not that electrical so keep that in mind. Thanks for any help!

Well that WP kit hacked the crap out of the harness so you have 3 options:
1 - Buy a new factory harness get the Electonix system (Everybody has said nothing but good things about it)
2 - Buy a Full RIP system from BDM
3 - ESC - do a search.
I put a RIP in mine and have had 0 issues, if I were to do it again, I think I would do the Electonixs (Axel's) system as I like some of the cool programming features.
You will hear people say to old school it and motogaget but those are a real pain.

Was thinking about the esc. I also would like to go with the easiest one to install based on my wiring game. What are your thoughts

In my opinion, they are all the same. All 3 you have to fish the harness down the backbone. My RIP is a little older and did not come with a mounting bracket so not sure how the new one bolts to the bike. ESC and Axel bolt to the original EHC location. The RIP and ESC both share the same micro controller. Like I said, for me, If I bought a K-9 today and it had an issue I'd go with the Axel unit. Look it up, it has a bunch of features. You can program things like the head light on or off, flashing brake lights, he added a connector for a bluetooth voltage sensor. Its a great unit and he stands behind it.

I replaced my EHC with the Elektronik Box or Axle unit. I had original wiring and it was absolutely plug and play. Over 2 years now with no failures.
If I was replacing my wiring I would probably go with the Big Dog RIP. Not because it's better, which it may or may not be, but because the wiring and EHC are made for each other. They have online install help as well.
I have not heard any reliability comments about the system PRO or CON . Maybe you will get some feedback about it from other members. Good Luck with your quest.

What all will I need then to replace the EHC and the wire plus module?

If your going to go the EHC route.....you will need to replace your harness. The wire plus install has all the wires cut to work with the wire plus. You will need to order a new backbone and power harness. You can't use the harness that is there anymore. Or try to find someone with a wire plus for sale and use it....but good luck with that.

Thanks for all the info. I apologize for all the dumb questions but this is the first time I have tore in to this bike and it just confuses the FUCK out of me... just give me a wrench and I’ll be fine, fuck these wires and harnesses..

By the time you get done with this project you will have both skills. Watch the video and you will see it's not all that bad for a person with a mechanical aptitude.
By the way, Are you sure your current system is fried? Maybe it can be saved.

All I know is the wire plus 13014 is completely smoked. If there is a way around that I’m all ears

Well I can't say first hand but I think Wires Plus was not considered to be very good. Others on this site may have more info related to that.
Personally I would go for the Big Dog EHC RIP kit. If Elektronik had a complete backbone wiring harness that would be a good choice as well but I'm pretty sure they don't. If you mix Big Dog harness with Elektronik ehc the price would be around $850 and the Rip kit from BD is $700 . Dealing with one vendor if any problem should arrive is a bonus as well.
Do some more research and get some more opinions before you pull the trigger. You can call Big Dog and Email Axel both are very responsive. I'm sure you have a couple of motor head friends that can help you with swapping out the wiring. If you don't break any connectors you'll be fine. Watch that video it's really not that bad.
