The horn relay is velcro attached to your left hand side electrical cover. Just pull the resistor out of the end of the relay. The only thing is your horn won't work now. Let me know how you make out.
Are you sure it's a resistor and not a DIODE. It could be a DIODE installed across the horn coil to protect the relay contacts from BACK EMF voltage arcing caused by the horn's magnetic coil windings. Removing it would still let the horn work untill the relay contacts got too burnt.

If it's a DIODE the Cathode (line marked end) would be soldered to the +side of the horn coil.

OR it is a resistor for some other unknown reason.

My PDM module fixed ALL electrical problems, EHC suck bigtime, damm things sense a loose connection and they will shut the bike down and then the horn goes off.
Trust me, my ride shut down 17 times in two months, and three trips on a AAA flatbed i was pissed.
$1000 to rip out that POS EHC and not ONE dam problem since.........

My bike acted up again. Turned the key on and everything dead, then horn started honking and all lights lite up on the EHC. I had replaced the horn relay resistor with a new one and doing the same thing. Charged up the battery and took it to the HD dealer for a load test. Braille battery tested at 13.01 volts and 465 cca. Removed resistor from horn relay. Everything powered up again normal. This problem is killing me.
