Oil Line Removal

I'm replacing all four Oil Lines on my 06 K9. While the first three were a pain...I at least was able to remove them. However, the fourth line brought me to a complete stop. It's the short line that goes from the bach of the oil pump to the oil filter. As you can see from the picture it's really tight. I can't get a wrench on it from the side, and the frame blocks me from the bottom. Is there a special tool that would solve this problem?

Appreciate that. I couldn't find that in an SAE so I ordered a different brand. I also ordered a set of Swivel, Crow Foot Flare Nut. They could be crap tools but I couldn't find the better known brands.

The crows foot probably won’t help you there but useful for other things. The wrenches will do the job and prove quite handy for a long time. Good investment

Thanks. I'm making progress on the teardown but it's going alot slower than I anticipated. I'm not looking forward to removing the internal wiring from the handlebars but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Tie a string to the old wires when you pull it out, then you can ull the new ones right back in.

I have to have the handlebars rechromed. Is it fairy easy to run a stiff wire to use as a snake to pull the wire through later?

Vacuum the string back through the handle bar, then pull the wire.

I just tie a small nut to the string and shimmy and shake the bars to get the nut through.
