If you are only replacing the rocker cover to head gasket, there is no need to take the tension off of the pushrods. Do you have a picture of the leak?thank you all. how difficult is it to remove the tension from the pushrods? i looked at ChaCha (step 1-7) pics but on my X wedge engine i don't see a place to use the screwdriver.
Only if you can get the rocker top back on and the gasket holds -- the X-wedge oil pump is a monster and if there is any missing gasket space, you'll have oil spewing out all over [don't ask how I know thisIn the event I can't do it myself, will I be able to ride the bike to the shop? It's about 12 miles...
