Oil Leak Top S&S billet box

2001 Pit Bull, with S&S 107. I'm not a mechanic by no means other than oil changes, plugs and plug wires so I'm looking for some advice.

The back top right 1/4" Allen Head Screw that is on the top rocker box cover has oil spewing out past it almost like the screw is not even in. All of this was taken off and replaced a couple of years ago in New Mexico when I had new gaskets and O rings done on push rods.

From what I Think I Know there is a flat 1/4" washer along with another flat 1/4" rubber covered washer that's on the top side of the box. What I'm wondering is could the fix maybe be made with just removing the one screw and the (2) old washers and replacing the (2) washers whit new ones and re-torque screw and take care of the problem, or is there something else that may be going on under the top billet box causing problems.

Amazing how chit breaks when your bike has been sitting a week and you decide to take a ride.

Tks
Mike

Someone else had this same thing a while back. Don't poke at it you might mess up the chrome. Remove the valve cover and clean it with some electro cleaner, and dab some silicone on the inside. Don't use JB weld, if it flakes off, you won't want it rolling around in the engine.

I thought you had a hole in the side of the cover, sorry. You may be missing the little copper flat washer on that bolt, of it may be cracked right there.

Finally pulled rocker box lids. Cracks inside lids around bolt holes. Front lid had one cracked rear lid all 4 were cracked. Replaced with complete new chrome 6 bolt boxes. No more oil spew.
