oil cooler

Can anyone tell me on the big dog oil cooler does it matter which hose goes where on the cooler, is there a inlet and outlet on the cooler or doesnt it matter on the cooler if so which hole is which every post i read says inside or outside hole on the cooler this depends because youm can spin the cooler around.

Sorry Darren I know the pictures I posted a while back on that old thread doesn't clear that up. I didn't notice any directional flow marks on the nipples or anywhere. I would be willing to bet that it could flow either direction. Hopefully someone knowlegible will chime in. Good luck getting it together for your buddy! :2thumbs:

I'm with Bad.....I don't think it matters on the cooler. Oil flows in one end and out the other.

Is that correct? I know my cooler doesn't have any markings either so the oil line can be attached to either side of the cooler?

You can make either side the inlet and the other will be the outlet:2thumbs: one in one out it don't matter

Insatlled one on my 2006 chopper , came with instructions. It dosen't matter which one you use.
