Odometer correction

The owner of my bike before me removed the speedo and drove it a for 3 months without a speedo. Is there a way I can add miles to it manually to correct the actual miles on it?

And how far do you suppose he could have gone in 3 months.?

He said 6 trips no more than 100 miles each trip so I'd say 600-1000. I believe he was being honest because he didnt have to tell me he had the speedo off.

Get you a digital Speedo and you can program the miles you want since you will be guessing anyway.

Yeah i know its guessing but atleast its closer to the real mileage than being off by 1000 id rather put on an extra 100 miles than be showing under if that makes sense.
