No spark

Hi everyone, just after some advice please.
I went to start my bike yesterday (2002 mastiff, 107ci) and found no spark. I removed the centre cover on the tanks and found that the LED is not pulsing on the thunderhart ignition. I have already bypassed the plug (soldered the wires) from the sensor that feeds the ignition. I removed the cover and sprayed freeze spray on the sensor and it started working for a few seconds, i then wanted to prove that it was faulty so i put a heat gun on it, and then freeze spray again.....but i cant get it to work again at all.....
Can anyone please advise on how reliable these sensors are (are they called the crank sensor?) and also where i can get one from.
Being in NZ, there are not really big dog parts around but there are plenty of shops selling Harley parts....what are my options with replacement sensors???

if you soldered the cam sensor wires together, what do you have in its place to synchronize signals to the ignition module/coil?

Just mean I by-passed the plug and socket, soldered the wires. the plug and socket is just another point to lost voltage, especially with a low level signal like what would be coming off that sensor.
opps, and sorry, I think its a cam sensor? is that right?

Thanks again to this website and the people that make up Big Dog Bikers, my bike is up and running again.
checked AC voltage from cam sensor,no voltage. Found a 2nd hand Harley cam sensor to get me going....on the road again!

glad you're back on the road again.
and while you're out riding, pick up a "spare" cam sensor. you will need it eventually.
it may seem like an expensive spare to have around, but how much would you pay for one if you needed one out on the road somewhere.
