Ok, here is some more progress. I haven't posted in awhile because my new photo program takes a ridiculously long time to download pix, and I need to get my computer "cleaned"! Anyway, the airbrushing is done and cleared. I have a few touch-ups to do, and then pinstriping and final clear. Hope you like it!

Kinda off subject, but I mentioned earier in this thread about Von Dutch pinstriping on skateboard decks. So here is my latest. I did this for one of my best friends back home. Can you make out the faces? Of course I can do this on bikes, I just don't have half a dozen bikes layin' around!:lol: :lol: :lol:

Ed, I'm curious, what do you charge for a paint job like this ??? Including both fenders and the tank ?

A job like this would start at about $2000. This particular job was quoted at $2200. The client asked for a few tweaks and some extra stuff. This was quoted on a ready, perfect base. All of the striping and body-work was on top of this price. So if you have a solid color bike, I can just wet-sand it and go to town! Of course I can fix dents and scratches too. A project like this is cleared at least 2 times + the cost of paint (bases and kandies), clear, and other materials that can easily range from $200-$500 depending. Turn around (on a perfect base, no body work) on a job like this is about 10-14 working days.
Roaddawg, yes I am going to stripe the flames in a lite blue.
