I want to buy a set also but scared about any long term repair issues it may cause. I know that most guys that just got them aren't having issues but it seems like the EHC bikes need the high carbon inlay wires and not the spiral coil wires. My bike is running great with the stock but would like some red ones, just dont need headaches down the road.

Sorry my ignorance but i"m trying to install my derby wire plugs. I took off the old one and try to understand how to install the new one. How do you do that? Before I do something wrong even for something so simple is better I ask

I end up to put my spark wire on but because the ex-wedge engine they are kind of too short. I couldn't run the back cylinder wire from underneath the coil cover because the cover would smash the wire against the engine fin.
Here a picture of what I needed to do to make it fit:

I don't think I liked it though. Maybe I'm gonna sell them or I gonna try to see if I can send them back or see if they can make me some longer ones.

I wish I had more money.
What color did you go with?

Ordered a set and have to say they are worth the extra money. 500 miles and no problems!

Went to start the scoot yesterday and looks like I'm only firing on 1 cylinder. Installed an old set of wires and good to go. Curious how many others will be experiencing problems with the Wicked Wires in the future. They sure looked good while they lasted!

One question! You guys having the problems with these wires, have you ohmed them out before installing? Might want to do this to save on the heartaches. Compare the readings to your old wires and you'll know if these wires will work. Just a suggestion... :D

MAGNECOR 10 mm MAGNECOR Race Wires: WELCOME TO MAGNECOR! :2thumbs:

Magnecor Part #2902 Magnecor 2902 Ignition Cable Set - 10mm 1998-1998 Harley Davidson FXR : Amazon.com : Automotive

"Magnecor's KV85 Competition (8.5mm) and R-100 Racing (10mm) Ignition Cables feature Magnecor's exclusive 2.5mm high capacity Metallic Inductance EMI Suppressed conductor consisting of stainless steel wire precisely wound at 200 turns per inch over a ferromagnetic core. The insulating jacket is made entirely of Magnecor's exclusive TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace grade silicone rubber and its single layer construction will prolong the jacket's insulating ability by conducting extreme heat away from hot-spots that occur near over-the-limit heat sources. The KV85 8.5mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 600 degrees F (320 degrees C) and up to 1 000 degrees F (540 degrees C) for short burst 3 minutes. The R-100 10mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 700 degrees F (380 degrees C) and up to 1 200 degrees F (650 degrees C) for short burst 3 minutes. Even if limits are exceeded the silicone rubber will retain its insulating ability until wires are removed from engine. MagnecorRace Wires are primarily designed and constructed to be used in applications where it is essential to prevent the possibility of ignition wires compromising engine performance. Modern race engines modified street engines and stock street engines which rely on electronic devices to control the function of either or both the ignition and fuel systems are prone to interference from all other spiral conductor ignition wires sold through performance parts outlets none of which can provide proper suppression for EMI particularly if a high-output ignition system is used. We always recommend use of our Race Wires for any stock or modified late model street engine that is electronically managed however most other modified or street engines can also use our Race Wires to improve ignition performance."
No problems with these :D

phatass just a thought. have you checked to make sure one of the wires did not vibrate off the back of coil? Im sure you did but if didnt get on good would be easy to back off. no problems with mine so far.
