Thank You, I will!Congrats! Bet it feels good to be back on it. Mine is still in pieces waiting for parts to come back. Enjoy a ride for me.

Thanks Brooks!Hey Franco just found your thread and watched your videos. Be proud brother you are definitely becoming quite the mechanic. Move to Florida and help me keep mine alive.
Looks and sounds great man, enjoy for a while! :2thumbs:

Paul,
Those are the stock pipes (half of them) LOL.... now I have mounted the V&H 2-2 with BCT Baffles... video coming soon.![]()
I think Franco meant 585 camI forgot to upload these pics which I took sometime ago.... can´t see much in them but I would like to know what you see there..., good or bad, I did notice it has the roller rocker arms, that´s a good thing, right? on the springs I cannot see any red stripe... are they good enough for my 258 cam?![]()

Yes, Torque is a huge difference.... I can now ride in slow traffic at almost "Idle" and she keeps pulling like a Freight Train... (b4 was all the time playing with Throttle & Clutch) :up:Fantastic job:2thumbs:
I'd be interested in your mileage and any other differences with the upgrades. I already get 32 mpg city and 42 mpg highway. I am guessing you will feel the torque with your 585.

I joined up almost 10 yrs ago, and you see the same questions over and over, except for a few comments back n forth. But after 10 years all the problems with these bikes have been discussed. And because of the low prices and the newb's buying them up, most of their problems are because the bikes have been hacked by the former owners.wowww its been five years already!!!!! those were the days about Mods for me.... this year I might change the EHC !!!!

And if your bike sat around on a tender for the winter, give it a good charge with a charger before you go out, or run it for at least 40-60 minutes for the VR to give it the battery a good charge.Have best fluids(capacities) spark plugs and tires been discussed yet![]()
