Hey Franco just found your thread and watched your videos. Be proud brother you are definitely becoming quite the mechanic. Move to Florida and help me keep mine alive. :D

Looks and sounds great man, enjoy for a while! :2thumbs:

I forgot to upload these pics which I took sometime ago.... can´t see much in them but I would like to know what you see there..., good or bad, I did notice it has the roller rocker arms, that´s a good thing, right? on the springs I cannot see any red stripe... are they good enough for my 258 cam?

Anything else? :D

Oh, and thank you for all the compliments! :D:D:D

Anyone here has tried or is running the "DOC´s BDM .585, High Air Flow, Performance Ign. Map"

Fantastic job:2thumbs:

I'd be interested in your mileage and any other differences with the upgrades. I already get 32 mpg city and 42 mpg highway. I am guessing you will feel the torque with your 585.

Huw
Yes, Torque is a huge difference.... I can now ride in slow traffic at almost "Idle" and she keeps pulling like a Freight Train... (b4 was all the time playing with Throttle & Clutch)

Mileage..... :D it all depends on your wrist... Honestly... not much difference :2thumbs:

I joined up almost 10 yrs ago, and you see the same questions over and over, except for a few comments back n forth. But after 10 years all the problems with these bikes have been discussed. And because of the low prices and the newb's buying them up, most of their problems are because the bikes have been hacked by the former owners.
The "How to" section just about covers everything:old2:

These bikes aren't rocket science, just bikes, ride on :chopper:

Alright! After a few hiccups (broken starter, clutch adjustment issues...) I can proudly say I have been successful on doing the new Modifications all by myself! :whoop:

1. 585 cam
2. Programmable Ignition
3. xXx carb booster kit
4. Forward Extensions
5. V&H Exhaust
6. Fuel Cap
7. New Sissy Bar
8. Oil pressure gage
9. New mirrors
10. Oil Coolers
11. Full Maintenance (Lube ALL cables, clean and dielectric grease in ALL connectors I could find, change fluids, etc etc.)
12. A few other bits & pieces...

Well... went for a test ride an hour ago.... what can I say.... :D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D:whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::whoop::D:D:D:D:D
