Hello all,
Am new to BDB and would like to hear opinions about a 2002 Husky. I have had numerous bikes of different makes and models in the past, and just sold a BMW K1200 tourer. Getting old and long trips no longer have the appeal they did in the past. Besides I am a DIY type and hated having to go into the dealership for minor things, because only they could re-program the bike electronics. Anyway, I still enjoy poker runs and bar hopping with the HD riders, and was looking for another cruiser. I found a 2002 Big Dog Husky with only 4000 miles and can't stop thinking about it. It is absolutely beautiful. I was haggling over the price with the guy, (wants $10k) and started searching internet for more info. Found that BD went under and was wondering if anyone thinks owning a BD will become a problem in the near future as for parts , etc., or if the Husky is reliable enough for a good DIY to own and keep repaired with aftermarket parts (if available that is..) Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
