Adding more to the collection

Got my Christmas present today. Beautiful pipe that I said earlier I would get.
You just can't imagine the shine on this Stainless unless you see it in person.
Will post pics of it after my camera battery re-charges! :argue:
Looks like it will mate right up to the Tranny. My last Stainless Creation pipe never fit right and I had to alter the bracket quite a bit but this one allow quite a bit of adjustment. Fellow member JMN68 has the same pipe. I had this one made 4" longer with a deeper cut in the end.
I still think I will wrap the pipe to the collector. Just to ensure it doens't burn through my leathers again as the Zig Zag did. Have to get these other pipes on eBay!

Just ordered the exhaust wrap and silicone spray from Summit.
Should look good when I get them done in a week or so.
Here are some more pictures. Sure look like chrome! To bad they won't stay like that. :D

Ray

Yes Sir Capt!!
I had it ceramic coated internally and it sounds real nice. A little quieter than my drap pipes. Waiting on a bracket extension from Martin Bros that I didn't get.

Here is my collection. I selling the black Ghetto Blaster if anyone wants it.

spin that filter up!?
Sorry Bro, but I think they look ugly in the vertical position. No problems with mine as it's flat nosed and over 6" long and 3" wide so lots of surface area not like some of those puny things around! :D

spin that filter up!?
If the problem continues I agree with Sul. My spike facing forward made the rear cylinder run lean and front rich. I couldn't flip mine up at the time. Check your plugs they will tell the story. Hopefully the intake seals did the trick.

Pipe dry fitted

Well I got my supplies from Summit but didn't get a long enough piece of wrap so got to order another longer piece. Thought I had it figured out but the bends and curves took up a lot of extra wrap. Got another order in to Summit already.
Here are a few pics of my latest attempt to get a good tight wrap on the pipe.
Will post finished pipe when new wrap comes in.

Here it the new pipe dry fitted. Looks great don't you think.

soaking the wrap

Tying it off for a tight wrap

Getting a good tight start with a SS tye wrap that are worthless!

looking good Ray - do you need to let the wrap dry out naturally before starting the bike or can you use the exhaust heat to dry it?

RAY Pipe looks nice where is the rear mount going to bolt to? 05chop
It mounts to the lower rear transmission side cover bolt hole. Pretty clean.
Ran the pipe yesterday for about 80 miles when I met Knotso and it sounds great and ran good.

As soon as my new wrap comes in from Summit I will have it on then I will spray it real with the 2000 degree paint for a good seal and then start it up and let it smoke.

Got the pipes finally done and installed today. After wrapping I painted/sealed them up with some good 2000 degree paint and then installed them and shot a video of them curing. Pretty awesome. Will get the video upload later got to get out to dinner but here are a couple pics.
