New ehc gen 2, confused on starter wiring

I have 05 big dog and bought the Gen 2 kit and I’ve had it apart for some time I’ve been so busy haven’t had time. And I can’t quite remember where all the connectors go as well as the starter wires? I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me which wire goes to what pole on the starter and the other red pole in the battery box area I’m not sure which wires go in it, I got most of the other little connectors except for the horn wires, ignition module, and speed sensor. TYIA, I apologize I know I should’ve taken pics first. But this bike has me ready to rip my hair out and I’m already about 13k into it

As I recall there’s only 3 connections for the starter. Green wire with spade clip on EHC to solenoid. Black wire from starter to solenoid and the black cable from the battery to the starter& ground. Could be wrong & probably am. Someone else should be along to confirm or let you know what I missed. Good luck!

i have the same problem aftrr replacing starter
I just realized your problem came after replacing your starter. Could be simple fix, let us know what bike you have and take a couple of pics of the connections. Really not much going on, you have a +(pos) side with a healthy cable going to it from the + battery and a green wire with a spade connector going to the solenoid from the EHC. The - (ground side) is connected at the starter mounting bolt back to the battery - side. Some bikes may connect to frame ground a different way but I don't know which models.
It could just be your connections need to be tightened. What are your symptoms ? Are you sure your old starter was bad?
