I just ran across that yesterday and sent him an e-mail about the weight. Will let you know what and when I find out.

I noticed that last night while surfin'. They look pretty cool. Might be easier to fall out of the ignition if to heavy.

Yeah I saw that before... cool idea. But damn... you though the key fall out was bad before!!!

I had to get my ignition replaced because of that. Lucky for me Stroker's had an extra in stock so I rode it in, killed it, replaced it and rode it out again. Covered under warranty

But I am diggin' the dagger look!

I'm going to order one today - I always carry an extra key in my wallet. Learned that lesson the hard way on my previous bike.

It doesn't look like it would weigh much more that the stock key. I like the quick release for those of us that attach to the spark plug wire.

Anyone know how many keys BDM uses now? Seems he could just get the blanks and send you your number. If I remember I thought it was like 16!

So did you have to have the ignition replaced because the key kept falling out or because the weight of your key chain ruined it?

I want one but I don't really want to replace my ignition for it

What do you use attach to the plug wire the right way?
I think I read it can cause ignition problems?

New improved ignition switch ..

What we need is the round key like on a Harley you turn it on and put the key in your pocket. You guys have me so paranoid are keys and ignition switches falling apart I take the key off my key ring so its the only key on the bike. Time for a good security device that fits the dog. Happy Thanksgiving!

Slow, I don't think you have to worry about it if you have a 2007 - it was just some of the earlier switches that had the problem with the key backing out. Nevertheless, I just have the key itself in when I'm riding - no ring or other stuff hanging on.

Wasn't using a key chain ... which is the part that sucked big time. But BDM called it a warranty issue so it was just the time sitting at Strokers .. drinking a couple beers and watching the girls that I was out.
