What the heck?
As stated in previous posts I have a 2005 BD Chopper DT which I had top end problems with and thus rebuilt top end the way S&S had intended the motor to be built in the first place ( long story) . Now that motor is delivering approx. 110 to 120hp my clutch was slipping like crazy so my mechanic installed a much heavier spring which cured the slip but made the clutch pull almost impossible, for me anyway. So after discussing this problem with Baker in depth, I was told the answer to my problem was there easy pull clutch designed just for the Big Dog. I was assured that it would cured both problems, slip and hard pull. Along with a new clutch ramp came a 9 disk clutch assembly which wasn't even mentioned in numerous phone calls with Baker. My bike I think like yours has a 12 disk assembly in it. After install the clutch slips worse than it ever did, and this is after $1200 that I pulled out of the sky. I am at wits end with this bike, bought it for $18.000.00 have put another $7000 in it and there it sits in the garage waiting for me to walk by and toss another paycheck or two at it. What the heck do I do or where do I go from here. I'm in Ripon CA so if any of you know somewhere or somebody that can get this dam thing fixed for good please advise. As far as Baker is concerned, they may be the big boys in this market but from the way I've been treated I surely don't know how they got there.HELP
