Can anyone please let me know as I'm trying to install new fender struts on my RB to accommodate a sissy bar..........is it best to pull rear fender or rear tire?

If anyone has done this please let me know with brief directions.

Thx

Pull the rear fender. You will have to remove the struts off the fender anyways and that will require removing the strut bolts that mount to the frame so you will be doing that regardless. No need to remove the rear wheel

Just did this today on my 05 ridgeback. Your new struts may not line up perfectly on all holes. I could only use two bolts on both sides after the swap. No need to pull tire. Don't forget to remove belt cover screw. You'll also have to disconnect taillight harness plug and remove lower front fender bolt. I cut my taillight wires on the outside of fender. Pm me if you need any assistance or pics.
