Looks like an interesting battery, but I am cautious of the PCA (Pulse Cranking Amp) rating for it is not the same as CCA. As per their web information, when it is converted in may not be giving you that much more if any, except for higher price and possibly less weight.

Now as per my O & M, BD uses a 270CCA battery and from my experience, I have had no problems starting it down to 15F on a cold engine. Of course that was with a good battery to begin with and a proper start. Would not say that when you get down that low, that you will get a whole lot of cranks our of it, but then again following the listed starting (two quick twist of throttle, enricher slight open, crank, start, enricher off after a few seconds, and use hand throttle it to to keep it ideling or maybe a little above, till it warms ups) at least this works for me.
