i have 03 pitbull i have a few leaks around primary first cover gasket now it looks like i have oil coming from the back side maybe starter area.
? if i go to internal belt drive or open belt drive would this eliminate all oil problems in this area?

It would make your setup a dry primary and you would need to make sure that the engine seal is reversed to prevent engine leaks.

But would be a lot cheaper to fix the gasket.:2thumbs:

Ok ... where do we get a HD badge? jk ... put some sillycone on it and it should stop leaking .... my inspection cover leaked no matter how tight I made it and the service guy said to put the sillycone on it and it stopped leaking ... but I torqued my inspection cover too much and now I'm ordering a new one ... :spank: :bang: :roll: :loony:

I have the Primo Xtreme which is the cheaper out of the 2 Primo. It has a 1 piece backing plate. Alhall has the Primo Brute 4 I believe which is the more expensive one and it has a 2 piece backing plate which is adjustable. It's really simple to switch over. Al did a how to on his when he swapped out. It takes about an hour or so. The hardest part is getting the motor nut off. You need to have a good impact gun. The second is to get the race off which there is a tool or you can do what I did. I dremeled both sides and knocked it right out.

My pipes are not good for the passenger. The exhaust exits right there and the wifey's feet get really hot.
