I have been out of the loop for a while and want to crack my motor open soon to bump CR to 10-10.5.

I have an 05 RB 117 with the 600 cam and G carb. I figuired when I cut the cylinders down I should upgrade the springs.

My question is the 640 springs or these Bee Hive I keep hearing about. I know on LS1 Vettes and Camaros the Bee Hives are the cats ass.

Also what else should I do when I get in there? Rocker arms, pushrods, etc...

Not looking for a Drag Bike, just want it to be real strong and smooth! Actually it is pretty scary as it is. It put down 110 hp and 118 tq a few years back but I dont put alot of faith in Dyno numbers so I really dont know if those numbers are even true.

Also will be putting a Thunderheart Ignition I have on it.

Thanks in advance.

The S&S Beehive is only rated at .585 lift. Another company had one advertized for .600 lift but its application was for late model Harley with I believe a 7 mm valve stem.

im pretty sure a member here just sent his heads and jugs to J Sachs and is quite pleased.

little port clean up, guides, seats, springs, zero deck.......:whoop:

you should have roller rockers already.

S&S pushrods are stout

do you have TP boxes? (4 bolt covers)
