My Wolf Arrived

Hi All,

Well a lot quicker than I expected my 2010 Wolf arrived from Austin and after going through UK customs inspection and Single Vehicle Approval I collected it from the shippers and rode it home today. First impressions? I love it, nothing else to say.

What I would like to say though is thank you to all the people on the forum who have advised me to date and an especially big thank you to my shipper Peter Jordan. Peter is also a BD owner here in the UK and I found him through this forum, not only did he do a great job but saved me a chunk of change into the bargain and I can't recommend him highly enough. Yet another thing BDB did for me.

Pictures of my new scoot to follow once it stops raining, hey it is England after all.

Just put a pic in for you all in my garage as promised, still can't work out how to embed one in my post, doh! Gotta say the metallic green / gold paint looks amazing in bright sunlight. So that's three days a year sorted.

Nice lookin' bike- bet you're relieved it arrived undamaged eh?

Click "advanced" in the posting box area and then click the paperclip icon to attach a pic. Maybe you can mount some LEDs to it so it is "self illuminating" to show off that paint :D

I realized this is actually the very next Wolf out of the factory after Sierramadre's bike, the one he has up on Ebay at the moment, he has 00002, this is 00003. Kinda surprised no-one had bought his yet to be honest, I guess the bottom really has dropped out of custom bikes everywhere, if I'd seen it before I got this I probably would have gone for his instead because of all the work he's had done on it.

I have taken it out for several good spins as the weather is unseasonably warm here at the moment but unfortunately the third time I went out the whole bike died on me, no power at all, speedo stuck on 60 MPH, no power to EHC, no nothing except oddly the brake lights still work. So, now it's on a trailer back to the shop and I'm hoping it's just a bad wire not a whole fried EHC situation but, if it is that bad, I guess I'll just go Wire Plus and be done with it. I already fell in love this bike and I'm going to keep it and ride the shit out of it come what may. I will not be deterred even though I am pretty pissed right now.

Hey thanks pknowles, I just took one quick pic so the framing isn't that great and you can't really see the two tone thing going on but you get the gist of it. I'll try and get a better one next time it's sunny here, I think we're scheduled for a days sun sometime in mid 2015.
