My Wolf Arrived

RETIRED
Hey thanks pknowles, I just took one quick pic so the framing isn't that great and you can't really see the two tone thing going on but you get the gist of it. I'll try and get a better one next time it's sunny here, I think we're scheduled for a days sun sometime in mid 2015.
We'll have to box some up and send to you for Christmas:)

Go Fast, Go Faster
I have taken it out for several good spins as the weather is unseasonably warm here at the moment but unfortunately the third time I went out the whole bike died on me, no power at all, speedo stuck on 60 MPH, no power to EHC, no nothing except oddly the brake lights still work. So, now it's on a trailer back to the shop and I'm hoping it's just a bad wire not a whole fried EHC situation but, if it is that bad, I guess I'll just go Wire Plus and be done with it. I already fell in love this bike and I'm going to keep it and ride the shit out of it come what may. I will not be deterred even though I am pretty pissed right now.
LOL- guess your Dog is just marking it's territory. Consider it "new owner bonding". I can;t think of a used car or bike i've bought that did not have something come up initially.

My opinion, pull the EHC crap and direct wire the bike with breakers and relays (breakers for main power leads, simple bosch relays for hand controls, flasher relay for signals). The speedo / tach should work directly off the engine mounted sensors (mine does). Hell, it is a motorcycle not a laptop. you'll never have to worry about shit again except riding. Part for direct wire are cheap, labor could cost a bit to have it done right if you can't DIY. I did mine front to back and it took me a day. I did drop the hand controls and man that really cleaned up the handlebars nicely. I don;t know about anyone else but I NEVER rely on turn signals and I run with headlight on highbeam all the time. A horn, what the hell for? I know yours is a 2010 so hopefully it is as simple. but IMO, on a bike, simple is better.
