I finally found time today to take my new chopper for a ride not too long maybe about 40 miles total road just like I expected it to a little vibration just like I remember them. The only thing missing is an open primary. I miss that for my old bike that’s probably my next change

OK I just put my new Dakota digital speedometer in my 2004 chopper .yes I have directions. But I’ve seen people on here that say it was plug and play and it just goes and others that say you have to calibrate it ..which is it? I tried going down the street about a half a block and it didn’t register anything, so am I doing something wrong or maybe my speed sensor bad

Looks like I’m sorry I should learn to proofread
Ck the housing on urs. This one is a "thick" one @ 3/8" Urs should be a bit thinner. As long as u have clearance Clarance, it should work. They have different pigtail lengths. Do some searching on their site.

You’re talking about the top or the screw goes through it, correct?
