After reading this Thread I went downstairs and got rid of the Glass Fuel Filter on my K9, I did put instead a Chromed Pingell (I was getting paranoid already about the glass....) It looked good though :D

That's fucking crazy. Sounds like there wasn't any due diligence on your part. At least you weren't smoking while filling it up.
