I was also looking at Kendon Lifts, as you can fold them up out of the way.I have a kendon lift and love it!! I have put my mastiff up so many times and a friends fully loaded ulta glide and it is so stable and when you are done put it up against the wall and it takes up almost no room.
Do they make them long enough for my 9ft long K9, or are there extensions/attachments required?
What about a front wheel chock? Does it come with one and if so, will it clear the low hanging rear of a K9's front fender (4" off floor when upright)?
I have an aluminum Sears lift, which was fine when my son was around to help me steady the bike upright to slide it under.
However, it's a little tedious and tentative trying to do it by myself. This is why I'm looking at scissors lifts.
