I have a kendon lift and love it!! I have put my mastiff up so many times and a friends fully loaded ulta glide and it is so stable and when you are done put it up against the wall and it takes up almost no room.
I was also looking at Kendon Lifts, as you can fold them up out of the way.

Do they make them long enough for my 9ft long K9, or are there extensions/attachments required?
What about a front wheel chock? Does it come with one and if so, will it clear the low hanging rear of a K9's front fender (4" off floor when upright)?

I have an aluminum Sears lift, which was fine when my son was around to help me steady the bike upright to slide it under.
However, it's a little tedious and tentative trying to do it by myself. This is why I'm looking at scissors lifts.

The kendon choper should do it no problem, I know with my Mastiff there is still room for a longer bike. As for the chock it comes with one. I did cut down the chock to make sure it did not hit the fender as they recommend and it is still stable. I love this lift and would recommend it highly. PM me if you have any questions. It is easy to get the bike on and off the lift by yourself and no problem to stand it up by yourself and put away.

love mine
Have the same one. For sub-$200 it's a good lift. I don't raise it too high - I'm sure it would be fine, but I don't want an "oh-shit" moment. I've had my eye on a Handy table lift for some time - solid. If I go with a table lift, I don't want to put a $20-30k bike 3 feet in the air on a cheap/flimsy one.

I just got a black widow table lift. i'm very happy with it. my k9 fits just fine ,with a 18in wide drop rear panel so the 300 tire will drop out making it easier when having to do rear tire work. very stable lift 1500lb hydraulic and pneumatic, got the side ext. making a 50in platform for atvs or whatever. shipping is expensive, if your not close to supplier.

Just got the side extensions for my lift and honestly, I think you could land an F-18 on this deck:D

I've got the Harbor freight longer lift, but I don't think they sell it any longer. It was a steal at $320.00 and does the job great! Best investment I've made for maintenance.:2thumbs:

Anybody have any knowledge of/experience with this company's lifts?

Motorcycle Lifts : EAZY RIZER BIG BLUE LIFT
Motorcyle Lifts and Stands

I was looking at scissors-type lifts (Kendon, Handy, etc) and ran across this outfit.

I want a quality, safe, easy-to-use (for 1 person) lift for routine maintenance & detailing on my K9, but don't want to spend over $800, max.
Thanks for any feedback!

I bought the Eazy Rizer Big Blue.. and it is PERFECT. Lifts my K9. Slides right under it no problem. You will need to get a good cheap LOW SPEED DRILL. I leave the K9 up there as long as I want. No hydraulic fluid just a BIG SCREW. I debated back and forth about the money, but I can tell you IT IS WORTH IT. I had a cheap sears jack before and it was not stable.. had to prop the bike up just to get it on the jack... With the Eazy Rizer no problem. If you need video or anything let me know... I bought my directly from England.:flag:

A video of you putting your K9 on it by yourself would be very helpful, if/when you have time! Thanks!:2thumbs:

Like I said, I'm looking for something that's a fairly easy "one-man" operation without having to prop the bike up, balance it with one hand while you try to slide the lift under the bike with your foot, riding the front wheel up onto some boards to get the jack under the frame, etc, etc..

Yes I have been meaning to do a video for some time now. Between school (using my GI Bill before it expires) and work the days are long. This life is a one man job only. Very easy to handle and very surprisingly stable. I can change fluids easily while the dog is up waist high. You can lift it in different places. I also bought the sport bike accessory for it as I have one of them also. I will get a video for you. email me at promo@donreco.com and I will get you some video. Like the company told me when I first started asking questions about this lift. You will not be disappointed. They even gave me 30 days money back if I was not satisfied. I took the plunge and I love it. It is so small that it is not taking any room in the garage. As a matter of fact I can basically store it under the K9 if I want. Do you have skype? We can make a video call also and this way you can also see it live. Anyways I will

I just bought a Craftsman lift from Sear's. It is the yellow referred to in a couple of the previous posts. I need to confirm with you guys in the KNOW of if I am going to take the front forks off.....would that be adjusted for in the placement of the lift on the bike before I lift it or do the contact points between the lift and the bike frame remain the same? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

put something( a floor jack is nice ) under the rear wheel to prevent the bike from tipping rearward

Thanks for that information! Makes total since and I would have never thought to that until after my bike tipped over backwards! I appreciate it!

i usually lift the bike in the center then place a couple of 2x6's under the rear wheel and lower it till the rear tire will not turn. Front remains off the ground and it'll sit there fairly secure.

Got a Easy Rizer Big Blue lift today, great design and well built, works great with the K-9.
I'm really close to buying one of these EZ Rider Big Blue lifts for my K9.

My concern is whether it's an easy "one-man-operation"...?

How difficult is it to get your K9 on this lift and up in the air by yourself?

Please let me know - thanks! :2thumbs:
