Hey guys, I just picked up a vinyl cutter a week ago to make some airbrush stencils and some decals, this thing is pretty cool. I wanted to make a few Big Dog decals for my truck and for airbrushing. The first one is a Big Dog logo, that I loaded in. The second one, I had my wife draw the Big Dog from the back on my t-shirt, loaded it in the program and took about a day of messing around with it to get it cutable. Came out pretty cool looking, still want to fine tune it a little but never saw anything else out there like it. Heres some pictures...

Thanks guys, I plan on selling some decals to try to offset the cost of the cutter a little so I'd be willing to start here. Let me just finish fine tuning it a little and I'll let you guys know. Right now I'm limited to white and black( good 7-9 year outdoor vinyl), for now that's all I have. The black looks really cool but wouldn't show up on a tinted window. And I can scale it to any size,up to 22" wide, this one is 10"w x 12t "I think. If I went too small I would probably have to delete the MOTORCYCLE from the tag around his neck. I'll keep you up to date.

I just sold my '08 GMC Sierra and with it went the decal on the back glass. New truck is supposed to have been built today. I will need a new dog for the back glass. Keep me in the loop for one.

Hey guys, for anyone interested in one of these, what sizes are you thinking? Like I said the one on my truck is 10Wx12H and fits the center window great. Would that be a good size? Only asking cause I plan on going to Staples to see if they have some stiff mailing envelopes like used with photos, and I want to get a size that will fit most. Once I find out how much the envelopes cost I can get a better idea what to charge for decals. Once everythings figured out I'll post an add in the swap meet section and let you guys know. I'm gonna try to make a slightly less detailed version to make a smaller decal just incase someone doesn't want such a big one.

Whatever is the height of the back glass of a GMC Sierra, hopefully I will have my new truck delivered by next weekend.

10x12 seems like a good size.

Another good way to ship is to roll it and ship in a tube
Yeah I thought about that too but then it would cost shipping rates instead of mailing rates. If I can find a large stiff envelope, I can send it it standard mail and it would only cost around $2. Trying to keep cost low to keep price down. Gonna head there today and see what they have.

Also messed around a little last night, tweaked the Big Dog decal and also made one with MOTORCYCLES on the bottom as another option. Then I made up the Logo with some flames. These are just pictures off the screen in the program, but it also gives you an idea what they look like in black.

I like the "motorcycles" on the bottom a lot better. That way it's clearer what it's meant to be, not just a literal "big dog"
