M-Unit , Betrieb simulieren

Hallo,
Thomas

Quick google translate for those who may know the answer to Thomas’ question:

Hello,
I'm asking for your help.
I installed an M unit. Now the front turn signals no longer work and I would like to test them.
The M-Unit instructions state that the light remains switched off during the starting process in order to save energy for the starting process.
I think it also turns off the turn signals for starting. Now I would like to check the current flow, but not all the time
run the engine while testing. Can I bridge something on the M-Unit so that the current flow can also be tested when the engine is not running?
greeting

I would double check each of my new connections before messing around with jumping or bridging anything. If you short something out it may toast your M-Unit. You will be reading voltage not current. First disconnect the battery from the unit. Then go to each wire(both ends) and check that you installed it in the correct position. Also check each crimp or connection for tightness. The ground side is just as important as the power side. When you are satisfied all looks physically good test the bike again.
I'm not familiar with the logic inside your unit but most controllers have a way to put on emergency flashers which would help you troubleshoot. Try holding down the R and L blinkers at the same time.
Having the engine running should not effect testing your lights. Call or contact wherever you purchased the unit to make sure you are understanding the instructions correctly. It is possible you require an additional component installed to make you flashers work properly. Hopefully someone on our site with M-Unit experience can give you additional or better guidance.
Good Luck

Thank you for your help.
I cheked the wires for the blinker. (the lamp who show for turn right or left.
There are 3 wires, black is ground.
There is also brown, i think this is 12 V plus.
Who can tell me for what is the third cable, it is red?

On page 51/52 you will see a wire diagram for an 07 K9. The colors of the wires may or may not match yours but notice at the top of the diagram you have your right rear turn and left rear turn lamps. Black wires on each are ground and the red on each are for the tail lights. That leaves brown for the right turn signal and violet for the left turn signal. Notice on the left side of the diagram the front lamps use the same color scheme.
I came across this diagram and it may also help you.
