I couldn't get it to turn on, so after about an hour in a parking lot doing diagnostics, I thought to look @ the oil filter - apparently I put it in the wrong way! I know, I could'nt believe it either. After I put it in right, the bike fired up but sounded horrible! That loud chirping noise came from the vtwin. My oil level was fine so I rode it back very cautiously home and it would die @ every stop light. The bike is new, I'm just breaking her in with 600 miles. I was wondering how you ended up removing that air bubble, and any words of advice would be GREATLY appreciated! The bike is a hyosung GT650r I don't know if you've ever heard of it.

Posted by Mofaster,
The air bubble I had really was because I put the tappet screen in backwards and it got smushed. I assume that is what you mean by the oil filter? So, I thought that was the problem. Make sure you check it's not damaged. Unfortunately, my noise is back and it looks like mine is actually coming from the transmission....I only have 3500 miles on it. I wish the tappet screen would of been the issue. Good luck.
