Yep... I even do that with my new non bdm key switchMost of us have the key on a carabiner which we hook onto the plug wire for this reason. Mine has been screwed up for months, but I don't loose the key this way.

:lol:You don't want to add any weight to the key. That's what caused my switch to give me fits and shut the bike off at random!Best not to add any weight or metal attachments to the key that will vibrate around.
