Buy my used Trotta D-2's, they need to be rechromed or ceramic coated, look on Trottas web site. He sells them for $1,100. I'll let them go for $150.00 or I'll just hang them on the garage wall. Good luck!Martin bros? Paul yaffee , I want different , loud, compliment my Dog.....
Yes, pipes are a rip off as far as money spent. However, look at Dave's and then look at a set of BR. Very clear cut difference. Hooligan said it like it is, just as he usually does.I haven't heard anyone but Gas not liking the V&H pipe. I have spent a shit load of cash on pipes and the V&H are good as any. So you get what you pay for is not always the case with pipes, pipes are a f-ing rip off. The heat shields on V&H fit better than most, and our bikes seem to run well with them. Pig Pen has a set on his bike since 04, no trouble and his bike has always ran great! Sorry Gas, your the man, but can't always agree with you, don't be sad everyone is wrong once in a while.![]()
A lot of people have had V&H pipes installed (me included, 2:2) and they seem to look and sound good and work very well. On my new Dog, I'll be looking for the best all-around (quality & performance) after-market pipe that won't blow out your right side ear drumNow that is one side of the coin. The other... V&H pipes are junk! The pipe is thin, diameters are small so they can be used on a wide variety of pipes, but doesn't work as well with the big motors. Further, they can't make a decent baffle if you threatened them to do so.
Just my $0.02
Best to look else where IMHOA lot of people have had V&H pipes installed (me included, 2:2) and they seem to look, sound and work very well. On my new Dog, I'll be looking for the best all-around (quality & performance) after-market pipe that won't blow out your right side ear drumwhen riding long distances.
Right now, I'm leaning toward V&H 2-into-1 Big Radius.
OK...got a link for those pipes you're talking about?:up:Best to look else where IMHO
