Stuck float

Your float needle is stuck open, drop the bowl and clean out the needle valve seat and chit. Make sure the float doesn't have a leak in it and it set to the proper height.

Sometimes you can just turn off your fuel and tap the float bowl with the handle side of a screwdriver, open petcock and see if it's still leaking. If it's still leaking you have to remove the bowl. If you've never done that before, get a service manual.

THANKS FOR THE HELP ........I'LL CHECK IT OUT

Just an FYI......

All caps means you are screaming on the Internet.

Some people won't even reply to it.

Good luck with your issue.

Would you know if a take off carb that went on a 117 cubic in k9 will fit me 2004 chopper which is a 107 cubic in ........my buddy was one for sale
Sure if they are the same size. G or E but you can't mix the two due to venturi size. But the S&S carb is so easy and will last forever. Just get a re-build kit for it. Or better yet just drop the bowl and clean it out real good and you will probably be ok. If you get your buds carb it may be in the same condition and you end back at square 1.

If you are unsure of doing it then send it to Bob. He's probably close to you and knows his shit. He built that fire hydrant carb that OCC used on one of there bikes and is a sponsor here. I would say the majority of us here have had him work our carbs.
