keep rubber in good shape

Just got me a pair of stock footpegs from E-bay.
Polished them so they are now in good shape.
Do You guys use anything special on thr rubber to keep them in shape as long as You can ?

I never put anything on mine and their showing signs of wear at 3000 miles. I think anything I would put on them would make them slippery so I leave them alone.

boots on the top and the road on the bottom. and, yes, they do get slick if they are treated. just putting your feet down at a stop will transfer enough oil/grim to make them slick.

Yes, just what I think sounds logical, they look pretty good so they will probably be fine.
First ride for the seasson today and I liked the rubber to keep my boots on.
