K9 Saddle bags

I wonder if this is what is to be expected in the future. you can't tell me that if you lay off a huge chunk of your staff that customer service won't be negatively effected. Its honestly very sad. The customer service provided by BDM has always been their saving grace IMHO. Without that, its not much better than AIH and we all know where that ended up.

Ok guys, I need some info. It's my understanding, that BDM made 15 sets on the first go around, and I got one of them. Does anyone else have any of the saddle bags?? From what my dealer is saying, BDM is making it sound like I'm the only one having a problem-I'd like to know if anyone else is... It also could be my frame-I guess they have different suppliers..:flag:

Well, up front let me say to anyone that doesn't like fowl language, that I'm sorry but I need to vent. I AM SO FUCKING FED UP WITH THIS BULLSHIT---I WISH THEY WOULD BUY MY BIKE BACK, AND I'D GO GET A DAMN HONDA-AT LEAST I COULD GET PARTS THAT WOULD FUCKING FIT!!!!!! NOW, I HAVE A SET OF BRACKETS THAT MOUNT TO THE BRACKET, SO I CAN MOUNT THAT G-DDAMN BAG----AND IT WOULD APPEAR THAT THE BAG WILL STILL HIT A STOCK AXLE CAP. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT NOW THIS NEW DAMN BRACKET SITS 3/4" ABOVE MY BELT GUARD.....THE FIRST GOOD POT HOLE(AND WE HAVE LOTS OF THOSE), OR I GIVE MY EX A RIDE, AND THIS BRACKET IS GOING TO COME DOWN ON TOP OF MY BELT GUARD. THIS SHIT IS SO FUCKING STUPID-I RIDE MY BIKE, AND THE FACTORY AS YET TO LISTEN TO WHAT I HAVE TO SAY....

Well, looks like I may have spoke too soon. After seeing what I had after putting on the right side bag, I wasn't going to put the left one on. Well, I TRIED to put the left one on, and now it won't even go on. The fucking holes in the new bracket don't line up with the old bracket or the bag. It just keeps getting better and better. It's a good thing that they aren't there on saturday, but you can bet your sweet ass I will be at there door tuesday morning(I would be there monday, but have a dr. appt.). Lucky for them-it gets them one more day for me too cool down.....:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::bang::bang::bang::bang:
Looks like you are going to have to go and show them in person. Hopefully it isn't too far. Make them compensate you for your time also.

I've been trying to get them to look at them from the beginning, so this time I'm taking matters in my own hands. It's not to bad of a trip, only about 3-3 1/2 hrs. one way. Shit Ray, I'll be tickled shitless if they'd just fix them right. I'd head up monday, but have a dr. appt. at the VA, and you know how long it takes to get one of those....

Thanks everyone---I have an appt. on monday, but I be headed up tuesday. I should be back to "normal" by then....hell, I've settled down a lot since yesterday. I just don't get it---this is not a major problem, just a clearance issue-at least on my frame. It's not that hard to correct. My dealer has done a 'OUTSTANDING' job trying to explain the problem. I've taken pics of them on the bike showing the area, I just don't "feel" like they have listened. All of the communication has had to go through my dealer, I can't get them to talk to me directly. Now with the latest "fix" I truly believe it to also be a safety issue.
Matt at Iron Lightning in Tulsa, gets one hell of a gold star---he never could understand how I was staying so calm over the last several months-but yesterday BDM finally made it happen-and I got MAD. I want to thank everyone for letting me vent-------BDM has a great set of bikes, and I love my K9-it's these last set of events that upset me-a great product doesn't mean shit, if you don't have the customer service to back it up.

I see you bag design and like it a lot but are you going to be doing anything that would work with the stock pipes. I believe your are too low for that.

I've get several things I could say about the bags. The pipes issue has not been a problem-YET. The bag design is great-a little small maybe. I had more problems with clearance on the back side-scraped the stock axle caps, rubbed on the swing arm, etc. Then I had to remove the belt guard to keep "the fix" from coming down on top of it. I don't think R&D did a very good job of testing. But, I've got all there fixes, and one or two of my own-so I think it's going to work ok. Time will tell.
I don't think Sheldon knows just what went on, because I'm sure he would of said something-I sure don't feel like I got my monies worth. Don't get me wrong, I love my dog and won't trade it for love or money.....

I know most of you don't like this look, but damn, I think it looks bad ass! If it wasn't for the $1499 price tag I would DEFINATELY get them! Good looking bike bro!
