how do I clean it - take it apart, scrub it with Dawn detergent, wash it out and let it dry?

Simple as that.I have a sifton filter and am going to do an oil change soon.

easier than the K&N air filters.I have not seen these before. Do they install like a normal filter, but they're cleanable and re-usable ? From WSW web site, looks like you could alternatively replace internal paper elements ?
Seems like a no-brainer upgrade - it would pay for itself in a year or two if you ride much. And doesn't seem any harder to clean and re-use than K&N air filters everybody has.
How many people run these ?
wildsteedworx.com will be your best place to get one. What is the model number of the K&P oil filter that would fit my 2003 Pitbull? S4? Do these filters really help the motor run Cooler?
I have a sifton and looks exactly same as the picture.Same thing.
it didn't come with a wrench.I was told the Sifton doesn't come with the wrench
